When you foster, you agree to take a homeless pet into your home and give them love, care and attention, either for a predetermined period of time or until the pet is adopted.

There are many reasons a pet might need foster care. Some of the most common reasons include:

• The pet has spent too long in the shelter without getting adopted due to their old age, unappealing look (although all animals are beautiful!), behavioral issues, or unpreferred breed.
• The pet is recovering from surgery, illness or injury and needs a safe place to recuperate.
• The shelter is running out of room for adoptable pets.

Fostering conditions are the same as adoption conditions, kindly review “link to adoption conditions“, with the exception of refunding the adoption fee once we get the pet back.
